Join an intimate group of writers here at theOffice on the 4th Sunday of the month for the Sunday Salon.
What to Expect
After a guided meditation, you’ll be offered a writing prompt. This prompt could be anything from a tarot card to a quote to a headline from the day’s paper – a prompt that will stir a deeper sense of inquiry within you. You’ll have 40 minutes to write whatever you feel called to write – a personal essay, a poem, a short play, a purge of freewriting – sky’s the limit. We’ll then come together and each writer will read what they’ve written to the group.
Whether you’re an established writer or just starting out, the Sunday Salon is an opportunity to explore new forms of storytelling, to awaken a sleepy muse, to bypass an inner critic, to more fully embrace your unique creative voice and to find inspiration in the voice of others.
