In-Depth Interview – Alec Berg

I just found out Alec Berg has written for some of my favorite comedies, and it’s no wonder because “Silicon Valley” has been generating a crazy amount of laughs out of me these past few years. It’s definitely one of the shows I look most forward to watching each year.

Alec Berg was recently nominated at the Emmy’s for writing “Silicon Valley.” You can find a list of the winners and the rest of the nominees here: Emmy Winners 2017He’ most well known for having written “Seinfeld,” “The Dictator,” “Eurotrip,” and “Shark Tale.” A fun fact about how he got started on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is that he got paid $100 per episode on season 5. More details are in the article. Pretttyyyy pretttyyyy pretty cool.

Here are a few questions from the interview:

“How did you get to where you are now, and specifically how did you get into comedy?”

“What was your playbook? When you wanted someone to talk to you, what did you say to them?”

“How did Silicon Valley start and what’s the story there?”
