“Baby Driver” is out now! I’m so excited for this movie that I had to do another Edgar Wright post. He’s most well known for “Shaun of the Dead,” “Hot Fuzz,” and “The World’s End.” I’ll do a more in depth post on him soon, but for today let’s discuss this quote.
I believe it’s okay to be proud of and appreciate the work you’ve done. In fact, I strongly believe that’s a good thing. If you don’t like your work, what’s the point? There is a fine line between that and complacency. When people become complacent with the work they’ve done, they believe they can do no wrong. That’s a mistake that can and has brought many hot shots to their downfall. Keep that line in mind. Being open to critiques and friendly suggestions can certainly help you keep your mind in the right place.
