Yesterday was about comedies, and today is about drama. My personal goal as a writer of science fiction is not to show what the world will be, but what the world can be. I can show the best, and the worst of what’s to come. That’s an incredibly powerful thing. Writers have this tremendous power with foresight. If you use this foresight, it’s possible you can change someone profoundly. That is what I believe Woody is touching upon.
