If you are a new or aspiring TV/screenwriter and are looking to kick your productivity into overdrive, enter now for your chance to win a free 6 Month Fellowship to theOffice. Think of it as a free writer’s retreat right here in the city. Here’s how it works:

theOffice Inaugural 6 Month Fellowship

What you get:

• Six months of 24/7 access* to theOffice from September 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011. You will be a Premium Member meaning you will get your own door code and can come and go even when staff isn’t here. (like 4AM on a Wednesday)

What we need:

• An email with your contact information. FULL NAME, PHONE, EMAIL ADDRESS (we will contact the winner via email), and a short LOGLINE of the project you will be writing. No more than 100 words in the logline please. Screenplays, television pilots, or stage plays are all eligible. All genres welcome.
•  A 10 page .pdf WRITING SAMPLE of your work. Attach this to the email please. This could be from the project you will be writing or it could be from your past work. Your best 10 pages. Do not submit pages that need to be set up or explained to be understood. Send 10 pages that stand alone.
• Email your info and writing sample to: theofficefellowship@gmail.com by Aug 15, 2010.

What to remember:

• This is only open to NEW screen and television writers. This means you can have no feature film credits as a writer on IMDb (short films are okay) and no more than 1 hour of television credit as a writer on IMDb.
• DEADLINE to enter is Aug 15, 2010. No submissions accepted past midnight.
• You must have sole writing credit for the sample pages you submit. This fellowship is for one (1) free membership and is non-transferrable.
• We are NOT accepting novel or short story submissions. (We’ll save that for perhaps another fellowship down the road?!) Script writers only please.
• Do NOT call, email, or drop by theOffice regarding this contest. If you have any questions, please COMMENT HERE. This blog is managed separately. theOffice staff will NOT be able to assist you.
• If you’ve never been to theOffice and would like to try it out before submitting, you’re welcome to do the free WEEK PASS. Just be sure to call first for availability. Contact info here. Again, staff will not handle contest queries.
• .pdf submissions only. All other attachments will be deleted.
• Winners will be notified by Aug 31. You will only be notified if you are the winner.
