The judges had a difficult time this year choosing from all the wonderful submissions we got. But there was one in particular that stood out. Everyone please put your hands together for our 2025 Fellow, Lynn Casey! Lynn wowed everyone with ten pages of her memoir Chasing Human. Her tale of leaving behind her life as a Hollywood executive to pursue the true depth of humanity had us begging to read the rest!

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted. It is no easy task to put your work out into the world for others to see. Your submissions took us all over time and space from 1947 Tokyo to 1700’s England to a near-future Las Vegas. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
